7. Cantus

Love is patient; Love is kind;
Love is never jealous.
Love is never boastful, conceited, nor rude;
Never selfish, nor quick to take offense.

I may speak in the tongues of men or of angels,
But if I have no love, I am but the clanging of a cymbal.

Love is patient; Love is kind;
Love keeps no score of wrongs.
Love doesn't gloat over other folk's sins,
But delights, delights in the truth.

I may have the gift of prophecy, and know every hidden truth,
And I may have faith strong enough to move mountains,
But if I have no love, I am nothing.  I am nothing.

I may give away all that I possess,
Or even give my body to be burnt,
But if I have no love, I am nothing.  I am nothing.

Love is patient; Love is kind;
Love is never jealous.
Love is never boastful, conceited, nor rude;
Never selfish, nor quick to take offense.

If I have no love, I am nothing.  I am nothing.

Three things last forever:
Faith, hope, and love.
The greatest one of these is love.

Love has no end.
